For the Sake of the Lake: Lakeside Vacation House by Kaufmann Widrig Architekten

Larch paneling and waxed concrete flooring define a house built by Kaufmann Widrig Architekten in Thonon-les-Bains, France. For the dining area, owner Marc Dee selected Verner Panton’s chairs, the smoked-oak table, and Agustín Sabella’s artwork, made with a stencil and traffic signs. Photography by James Silverman.
