HiP Awards 2019 Kicks Off Another Year of NeoCon

NeoCon doesn’t officially begin until Monday, but the party got started ahead of time with the annual Interior Design HiP Awards on Sunday night. Now in its sixth year, the event showcases the best products and people at the world’s largest commercial design trade show. Interior Design’s Editor in Chief Cindy Allen resumed her M.C. and hosting duties, celebrating the night’s winners and honorees and keeping attendees entertained.

There was a range of winners across 50 product and people categories. The product standouts presented an all-encompassing selection of innovative contract design, ranging from wireless charging surfaces to sit/stand furniture. Some of these included: Clean Impact Textiles by Duvaltex, Back-Wing Seating by Haworth, and the Xorel Artform Baffles acoustical application. Honorees in the people categories were a mix of movers and shakers who work tirelessly to make the industry a better (and more beautiful) place.

Once the winners claimed their prizes, the attendees gathered at Marshall’s Landing for a cocktail party to toast their achievements and gear up for an even bigger and better year of NeoCon, which officially opens on June 10.
