The integration of design, art and light in architecture dates back to a long time ago, and maybe this is the reason why lamps have gradually stopped being just an item emitting light to become a light sculpture which confers a special personality to the product and its environment. It is such the importance of light that any change on the item can alter the formal concept of the whole project. A sculpture may seem more or less static, depending on the light received. With DOME we decided to take the light out of the object so it becomes a light sculpture designed to receive and emit a delicate light, a play of lights and shadows that enrich the space. We are also specially proud to say that DOME have been prized by Interior Design with the Best of Year Honoree 2015. DOME is available on three sizes: 180, 90 and 60cm diameter.
In Bover we have been working for years with the idea of contributing in the improvement of space; trying to solve the lighting needs in the most natural way that, as users, we consider to be the most relevant. We are interested in the constant search for timelessness as a concept and at the same time, we try to maintain a balance between trends and the material culture that surrounds and influences us. That soft and discreet line that separates and positions us in front of the others and makes us feel different when we enter our homes, our favorite spaces. In short, in our world.
