Yu Ting (born in 1972) is a Shanghainese architect, gastronomist, and columnist. He is National First-Class Certified Architect and Founder of Wutopia Lab, Let’s Talk, Urban Microspace Revival Plan, and Co-Founder of GALA Space. In addition, he is Director of Oneperson Museum, Guest Professor at Southeast University Architecture Academy, Co-Director of Tsing Hua Architecture Graduate Association, Guest Judge of Course Design and Committee Member of Course Design Defense in the Tongji University Urban Planning Academy Architecture Department, Member of China Construction Association (e420007609), Director of the Design & Decoration Committee of the China Hotel Association, Expert Reviewer of National Science & Technology Award, Expert Reviewer of Shanghai Construction Project, and Shanghai Exploration & Design Quality Expert. He previously served as the Deputy Architect of Urban Design Department of Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design (Group) Co., Ltd. He was chosen by the New Real Estate as one of the 100 most influential contemporary Chinese architects and by Domus as one of the 78 top contemporary Chinese architects. He was also chosen by Mangazine to be in their list of the top 100 Chinese architects. In 2015, Forbes named him as one of the Chinese architects with most potential.
