After two exciting weeks of NeoCon Now episodes culminating in the seventh annual HiP Awards now behind us, this week DesignTV by SANDOW revisited some inspiring segments that highlight women leaders in the industry and the futures they'll design.
To begin the week, viewers were treated to a Design Giants segment featuring renowned Italian architect Patricia Urquiola, hosted by Interior Design Editor in Chief Cindy Allen, with a compelling guest-star performance by Urquiola's daughter, Sofia. Urquiola describes her design style as "durable," noting that when she puts products into the market they have to live beyond a particular moment's trend.

Moderated by Allen, a panel consisting of Dorothy Cosonas, creative director at KnollTextiles, Kim Yao, principal at Architecture Research Office, and Nina Bruun of her eponymous Copenhagen-based design studio discussed what future office spaces might look and feel like, noting the importance of dynamic textile and acoustic solutions.
