A pair of washbasins by long-time Boffi collaborator Norbert Wangen pools the expertise of the kitchen-bath manufacturer and the craft-obsessed designer into two gently attenuated designs. Relying on white Carrara marble or dark limestone from collaborating manufacturer Salvatori, Wangen conceived L14 and L18, new iterations of his L10 basin from 2007. “The idea is stone carved by water,” he says, “yielding an edge so thin, it’s almost fragile.”
Available in single and double configurations, 55 and 71 inches wide, respectively, the 19 1/2-inch-deep fixture can be top-mounted or wall-mounted with stainless-steel brackets. The drain is covered in marble, while the soap holder is Canaletto walnut.
