Lisa Iwamoto and Craig Scott founded IwamotoScott, an award-winning and internationally recognized architecture practice established in San Francisco. The firm creates innovative designs at all scales, with work spanning art installations, workplaces, buildings, and visionary cities. Educators at heart, both Iwamoto and Scott have taught throughout their careers.
Both Iwamoto and Scott received Master of Architecture degrees from Harvard University. Iwamoto is currently Professor of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, where she was named the inaugural Doris and Clarence Malo Collegium Teaching Chair in Design, and where her design research concentrates on the perceptual performance of material and digital fabrication techniques. Scott is Professor of Architecture at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, where his teaching focus is on Advanced Studios, Core Studios, and Architectural Analysis.
