A place where “light, colors, and materials can create a regenerating sensory experience.” That’s how Monica Graffeo describes the bathroom. And she conjures such an ambience with Hammam, a multifaceted concept for Rexa Design that evokes the therapeutic tranquility of a spa. Skinny planks of white Corian cover the floor, then rise to meet earthy textured clay bricks. The clay reappears as base trim for the tub and basin, both molded from Korakril, a stain-resistant hygienic composite of acrylic resins and natural minerals.
