Louise
Bourgeois and Dorothea Rockburne have something in common. Besides the
obvious—being female and artists—they and 51 others have pieces in “Women’s
Work” at New York’s National Academy Museum & School through August 26. The
paintings, drypoint engravings, and sculptures span more than a century.
Earliest is a Mary Cassatt genre scene from 1889. Most recent is a 2010 abstract
