Purapietra - Ciotole & Ombramagica

This upstart manufacturer, an offshoot of Italian stone specialist Moscato Marmi, tapped 10 designers to create a line of bath products marrying handcraftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. The sinks are especially unique: Ponder Davide Verdelli's topographical Igiemme, C+L's slatted Birichino, Andrea Trebbi's conical Divo, and Stefano Visconti's BBQ, whose concrete tray slices through one side to hold towels. And the Ciotole & Ombramagica suite, by Mario Mazzer, includes a voluptuous-and voluminous-bathtub whose profi le resembles a slightly off-kilter pair of stacked bowls.
