The chair-stool hybrid by Aeris responds to changing workplace dynamics and addresses worker well-being. The microfiber-covered seat is equipped with patented Flexzone technology: An arched seating surface keeps the pelvis and back upright and its super-soft padding yields to pressure rather than obstructing it. Beneath, the aluminum-sheathed steel column slides into a socket in the nonslip base, a sturdy composite of polyamide and polypropylene. A spring system allows the column to pivot 4 inches, keeping muscles active and promoting proper circulation. The standard version adjusts from 20 to 33 inches high; Muvman High ranges from 23 inches to 36, the lift controlled by a button under the seat.
