Inspired by the natural motion of plants as they open, close, and lean to capture sunlight, Jorge Goval's daybed features a segmented glass- or carbon-fiber enclosure that can withdraw to let light in or unfurl to create a private space protected from rain, wind, or heat. The round frame, in anodized aluminum and stainless steel, is available in black or white and measures 86 ²/³ inches across by 57 ¾ inches tall.
