The Hungarian manufacturer's Otto stool works equally well as a table-just keep an eye (wink, wink) on its ocular apertures. The piece is delicate in appearance only: It's sturdily built via noscrew fine-joinery construction in a choice of beech, maple, ash, and black walnut. Optional tops of biodegradable furnituregrade linoleum (composed of oil, rosin, wood flour, and natural pigments) come in burgundy, mauve, and carbon.
