Invoking a Stevie Nicks song, the Leather & Lace collection re-creates the age-old craft of Spanish fabric making but relies on Italian artisans using newfangled laser-etching and -cutting technology. Patterns run the gamut, from the spooky Dot Skull to the winged things of Fauna and Fauna Swirl. Meadow is an organic freeform graphic, while Brooch boasts a baronial fl ourish. The media aren't the usual either: Cavallini hair-on cowhide, Napoli vegetabletanned leather, and aniline-dyed Royal Suede.
