Charlie Tyke turned 2/90 Sign Systems into a major supplier of architectural signage. He's now semiretired, but he's not just golfing. His entrepreneurial spirit and his passion for art combined to spark this new company. Its cornerstone offering is 3StepArt, a name that describes the specification procedure: Select one of a dozen abstract compositions signed and dated by the artist, then a size from 1 foot square to 5 by 10 feet, then a color scheme. (Or consider commissioning your own masterpiece in the dimensions of your choice.) Pieces in the inaugural collection are digitally printed in VOC-free, ultraviolet-cured ink on expanded PVC.
