Designers Guild - Air de Paris

Charting an imaginary Frenchwoman's journey from Arles to the capital city, Christian Lacroix unveils Air de Paris, the fashion house's second collection for Designers Guild. Modernminded graphics and reinterpretations of classical motifs figure prominently in the 14 fabrics and seven wallpapers. Carnations are strewn across stripes and polka dots in cotton Incarnation; printed cotton Ps'Ikat offers its own take on Asian tie-dye; silk satin striped Sol y Sombra contrasts with the cut-velvet harlequins of Nimes; black-and-white jacquard En Lace Moi coordinates with oversize satin damask Guipure. As for the wallpapers, they include Voyage, inspired by an antique map of the Camargue region; Souvenir, a faux collage of memorabilia; Intuition, with its trompe l'oeil wood grain; Nouvelle Me, modeled after a pinup board; and ornately flocked Paseo. 203-359-1500; osborneandlittle.com.
