  • Blik - Rosoni

Imagine changing the look of your walls with a flick of a switch. That's the intriguing idea behind Rosoni, the manufacturer's latest lineup of self-adhesive, removable, and reusable surface graphics. The four-pattern collection is the brainchild of Carnovsky, the Milanese art and design firm fronted by Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla, and based on the duo's interactive RGB wallpaper series. The circular graphics, each 4 feet in diameter, consist of three ultrathin layers of nontoxic, PVC-free mattevinyl film. Each is printed with a different image-flowers, animals, or insects-creating a vibrant, abstract intermingling of shapes and colors. But when exposed to red, green, or blue light, the correspondingly colored layer reveals itself. And the effect is viewable from all angles, so they're also fi tting for the ceiling. 866-262-2545; more

  • Imagine Tile - Art of Board

Some consider skateboarding to be practically a crime; others, an art form. Among the latter is Art of Board, a lifestyle brand that captures the soul of the sport by recycling skateboard decks into tiles. But since there's a finite supply of castoffs-and a limit to their applications-the label teamed with Imagine Tile to extend its streetwise spirit to ceramic. Digital images of boards are screenprinted on the glaze of the wall tiles, a process that immortalizes every scratch and gouge and thus makes them durable enough for commercial spaces. The 3-by-6-inch tiles are offered in 24 ramped-up graphic patterns. Gnarly, dude. 800-680-8453; imaginetile.com.

  • Seabrook Wallcoverings - Delorme

Reality TV is all the rage, so why not "reality" wall coverings? Carl Robinson unearths authenticity in Atmosphere, a series of 32 multipiece trompe l'eoil murals that explore the limits of dimensionality. Water-based inks produce photographic effects on nonwoven, low- VOC substrates. The 18-inch-wide panels are then treated to a washable acrylic finish. Delorme, a 12-by-9-foot image composed of eight panels, simulates peeling paint. The same distressed demeanor adorns Delancey, whose six panels re-create a faded sign 9 feet wide and 6 feet high. The atmosphere is industrial in Dartmouth, a 12-by-9-foot mural-created with eight panels-that depicts gears and cogs. Typewriter keys recall low-tech times in Dorrington, whose four panels form a 6-by-9-foot image. 800-238-9152; more
