  • Landscape Forms - Windmark collection

The Windmark collection of chairs, by Margaret McCurry, contrasts delicate details with bold shapes and lasting materials. The castaluminum chair frame can be paired with wood-slat seat and back panels or powdercoated metal ones etched with abstract organic patterns (grass, leaves, and rain). For woods used outdoors, choose from ipe, jarrah, black locust, and purpleheart; indoors, it's oak, maple, and jarrah. Available with or without arms and ottoman/seat; coordinating tables are an option as well. 800-430-6209; landscapeforms.com.

  • Sutherland - John Dickinson Collection

Working from finished pieces and in some cases molds, this company has launched the John Dickinson collection in tribute to a San Francisco legend whose sculpturally exotic furnishings still have passionate adherents nearly 30 years after his death. Some of the 11 estateauthorized limited-edition reproductions are strictly for indoors, for example a resin lamp topped by an aluminum dome with brass trim. But the majority are appropriate en plein air, molded from glassreinforced concrete painted a precipitation-resistant matte white.
The elegantly rugged Tree Stump pedestal is accompanied by tables bearing witness to Dickinson's famous fixation on beastly feet. Three favorites are Etruscan, Hoofed, and Six-Legged African. 214-638-4161; sutherlandfurniture.com.

  • Sifas - Sakura

Mark Robson designed his Sakura seating for Sifas with maximum flexibility in mind, and we mean that literally. Each 87-inch-long module can bend into four positions, from utterly upright to serious recline-chair morphs into chaise longue. Or connect multiple modules to form a sofa. Even curved confi gurations are possible, thanks to sides that can taper at either 9 or 27 degrees.
The lacquered aluminum frame sports a removable cushion made from Hydro pass, a pliable polyester padding that lets rain pour through and out for a drying time of just 15 minutes. Specify the cushions in gray Lead Chine, black Sooty, striped Graumel, or Natural. Offered in the same colors, a matching piece can serve as either an ottoman or, topped with a lacquered aluminum panel, a side table. 305-573-0848; sifasusa.com.
