The parasol's shade membrane, made of a pre-tensioned, laminated performance textile, resists tearing and provides more than 95 percent UV protection. Stainless-steel reinforcement cables tie into a base built with proprietary Armor-Wall aluminum construction coupled with stainless-steel pocket construction. Aluma-Teak hardwood-in natural, java, or weathered finish-offers the durability of marine-grade aluminum. Plantation can be mounted in the ground with reinforced concrete and steel anchors, or within heavy portable shade anchors. Available in a 216-inch octagon and a 156-inch square, the parasol measures 141 inches tall and unfurls with a telescoping mast and easy-drive crank system.
