Archetypal forms of illumination get new life in AlessiLux's suite of rechargeable LED table lamps. Designed by Frederic Gooris, Ricordo Paraffina revives the obsolete-albeit still familiar-oil lamp; the battery-powered LED can operate at full power for 10 hours. Using the same technology, Giovanni Alessi Anghini and Gabriele Chiave's Lumière Fiamma Silver and Lumière Abatjour White suggest modern renditions of old-school portable light sources.
