Long capable of producing high-resolution carpet patterns, Milliken & Company's patented Millitron printing technology has attained new heights in the Allumé collection, targeted at public spaces in hotels. Its four tile patterns, Focus, Radiant, Reflective, and Streams, pay homage to light as the ultimate natural resource-the factor that determines visual response to built environments-by demonstrating varying aspects of luminosity.
Each 36-inch square is cut-pile PVC-free Invista nylon tufted on a nonwoven synthetic backing and treated with Alpha-San and StainSmart to repel spills, mold, and mildew. And each is printed individually, so gradients of color remain consistent even in overscale patterns. Furthermore, all four are perfect candidates for Milliken's new InCode installation system.
