Odegard - Ainu III
After researching the Cultural Narratives collection in the textile department of the Museum of International Folk Art in New Mexico, Stephanie Odegard created Ainu III, a hand-carded, hand-spun, and hand-knotted wool carpet. The name refers to the indigenous people of Hokkaido, Japan who are renowned for their kimonos.
