Le Studio Anthost - Alberi
Astrid de Saint Anthost's studio creates hand-painted fashion fabrics for the likes of John Galliano at Dior and Christian Lacroix. For one version of Anthost's and Elizabeth Polish's 23-inch-diameter Alberi cast-iron chandeliers, the studio hand-paints bare branches in white onto concentric tubes stitched from panels of vinyl that resist heat from the incandescent bulb.
