High Point Announces Green Seminar Series

The series will offer the latest information on environmentally responsible practices in the home furnishings industry.

The furnishings industry is packing their bags for wholesale home furnishings show High Point Spring Market, held in High Point, North Carolina April 7-13. This year, attendees can take advantage of a new green seminar series co-sponsored by trade show and property management firm Merchandise Mart Properties. Talking Green will offer the latest information on environmentally responsible practices in the home furnishings industry.

The educational series will be held on the top floor of the Suites at Market Square. Highlights include Small Steps Make a Big Impact; The Search for Certified Wood --A Sensible Solution; A Word from Scientific Certification Systems; the Swedish Design Symposium; and Smart Parts: All You Ever Needed to Know About Foams, Coatings, Textiles and Wood.
