Architecture, engineering, and construction firm Ellerbe Becket has named 18 new principals, to work in five Ellerbe Becket office locations globally: Thomas Anglim, Washington, D.C., architecture, project director; Douglas Beichley, Kansas City, architecture, project director; Roland Binker, Washington, D.C., architecture, healthcare planning director; Robert Bracamonte, San Franciso, architecture, design director; Douglas Brown, Kansas City, architecture, architectural director; William Catron, Washington, D.C., architecture, project director; Gregory Chang, Washington, D.C., architecture, healthcare planning director; James Curran, Washington, D.C., architecture, design director; David Derr, San Francisco, architecture, project director; Steve Duethman, Kansas City, architecture, project director; Wendy Fimon, Minneapolis, interiors, project director; Michael Hnastchenko, Minneapolis, corporate, director of technology; Michael Kennedy, Minneapolis, architecture, design director; Faye LeDoux, Minneapolis, architecture, project director; James Mischnick, Minneapolis, project director; Alan Milligan, Dubai, managing director; Jon Niemuth, Kansas City, architecture, design director; and Douglas Westby, Minneapolis, architecture, healthcare design director.

Ann Harten is now vice president of global information services for office furniture manufacturer Haworth. In this position, Harten is responsible for leading the integration of business systems and supporting technologies on a global scale. 

Carl Bergauer, who has been vice president of sales and marketing for furniture dealer Tusa Office Solutions for the last five years, has been promoted to executive vice president for Tusa expo holdings.

Gerald Lee Morosco is the new chairman of the board for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, which is dedicated to conserving the work of the renowned architect. He succeeded Vernon D. Swaback, who had served as chair since April 2004.

Pam Touschner, partner in charge of full-service design firm WWCOT’s Inland Empire and Coachella Valley operations, has been elected first vice president/president-elect of the AIA California Council. Her one-year term as president will start on January 1, 2007, when she will succeed newly elected president John Melcher.

Architecture, engineering, and planning firm SmithGroup has two promotions. Anne Belleau-Mills, principal and healthcare studio leader, and Kevin Shultis, principal and learning studio leader are now vice presidents at the firm’s Detroit, Michigan office.

Stephen Lyons has been appointed vice president, national accounts for office furniture manufacturer Gunlocke.
