AIA L.A. Announces 2005 Presidential Honorees

The deadline for entry forms and fees is July 16.

AIA Los Angeles reveals the Presidential Honorees (listed below), the first round in its prestigious annual competition celebrating the best architecture and design of  Los Angeles. 

The call for 2005 entries is on going for the awards program, which is divided into two categories--Design Awards (built projects) and Next L.A. (unbuilt or yet-to-be-built projects). Entry forms and fees must be received by July 16. Final projects, due September 23, may be residential, commercial or civic, and must either be by L.A. designers or firms or located in the L.A. area.

On Thursday, October 27 at the Los Angeles Design Center, a gala will honor be held to announce winners and recognize Presidential Honorees.

A jury of renowned architects includes Hank Koning, of Koning Eizenberg Architecture and Brad Cloepfil, of Allied Works Architecture. For additional information, call 213-639-0777 or email info@aialosangeles.org.
