Description: The AIA National Convention and Design Exposition annually draws more than 22,000 architects and building industry professionals, making it one of the leading events in the building industry.
In 2007, the conference theme was Growing Beyond Green. Seminars included Concrete for Cool Communities, Women in Green: Voices of Sustainable Design, and Architecture and Lifecycle Assessment.
The 2008 convention, titled We the People, will address the power of architecture, and its influence on people and society.
