The 14th Annual Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale will return as a highlight event of Palm Springs’ 11-day Modernism Week – an annual celebration of mid- century modern design, architecture, art, fashion, and culture. The 4-day Modernism Show & Sale will return to the Palm Springs Convention Center opening on Friday evening, February 14th, with its highly anticipated Preview Gala benefiting Modernism Week, a non-profit organization providing scholarships to local students pursuing college educations in the fields of architecture and design.
Featuring eighty national and international exhibitors presenting a premiere collection of furnishings, decorative objects, and fine arts from all design movements of the 20th century, the Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale will offer a broad range of furniture, art, lighting, textiles, jewelry, vintage clothing, and accessories. Of the 80 participants, Bridges Over Time of Walden, NY and Z Modern of Denver, CO will be in attendance along with Southern CA-based galleries Archive, Design\One, Off the Wall, Studio One 11, Fat Chance and Reform. Debuting presenters include Two Enlighten from Glendale, CA and McCormack & Co. of Sarasota, FL. A full list of exhibitors is available at www.palmspringsmodernism.com.
The show opens with a Preview Gala and early-buying opportunity from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, February 14th benefiting Modernism Week. Preview tickets are $75 per person in advance and $95 per person at the door and are available online at www.modernismweek.com.
The show continues through the holiday weekend – open to the public – for admission of $20 per person at the door. Show hours are Saturday, February 15th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, February 16th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Monday, February 17th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 N.
