SOUPERgreen Exhibition at A+D Museum

February 22, 2011

SOUPERgreen

Much of green design is more of the same - the same aesthetic, the same verbiage, the same materials, even. A new exhibition at Los Angeles' Architecture + Design Museum has set out to prove that there cooler, better alternatives to the conventional ideas of "going green." The exhibition, entitled SOUPERgreen, is open from February 12 to April 14 of this year, and showcases five architectural proposals that highlight the ways in which technology can be a more human means of engaging us with nature than has previously been possible (paradoxically, maybe, as most people view technology as the antithesis of the natural). The architectural minds represented in the organization are Doug Jackson, Wes Jones, Aryan Omar, Steven Purvis, and Randolph Ruiz. Check out all the details on the SOUPERgreen exhibition on the museum's website
