Finally, No More Stacks of Phone Books!

We've all seen the stacks and stacks (and stacks) of Yellow Page phone books on street corners, in office hallways, and in the trash. With the ease of access to the internet, haven't we all wondered when the massive tomes would disappear entirely? Finally, The Yellow Pages Association has made it possible to opt out of phone book delivery, using their newly launched opt-out site. While it's just a first step, it's at least a step in the right direction, allowing you to search by location and opt out of the MANY phone book publishers that may be distributing in your area. The YPA itself is not a publisher but a trade organization whose members are mostly Yellow Page publishers in the US. Check out the site and start opting out immediately to stop those pesky books from appearing on your doorstep.
