The World's First Carbon Zero Wine!

November 23, 2010

eco.love winesWith the holidays coming up, why not break free from the egg nog, butter rum, and hot toddy traditions and instead serve carbon-zero wine from brand new eco.love wines? The line is the creation of sisters Andrea and Robin McBride, crafted in New Zealand and certified carboNZero. The wine' production methods are as green as can be, including renewable energy-powered facilities, recycled glass, sustainable viticulture, natural inks on the label, and even the restoration of the natural ecology around the vineyards. The sisters believe that wine can be made responsibly, and drunk responsibly, but also say, "We just want people to have as much fun drinking the wine as we did making it!" The Sauvignon Blanc and Reisling are now available for $16.99 a bottle, and a Pinot Noir will be available in 2011.
