Esque's Wall of Tears

July 20, 2010

Esque Wall of Tears

Despite its somber name, Portland-based Esque's "Wall of Tears" wall decoration is just so darn beautiful, and made by hand with sustainability in mind. Usually I'm not one who is drawn to the purely ornamental, but Esque as a design company just "gets it," putting thought and care and eco-minded decision making into every piece they produce. The Wall of Tears is made up of hand-blown, recycled glass globes, and come in a variety of colors. They resemble balloons a bit, in a sort of post-birthday party aesthetic, and bring a third dimension to any wall. Wall of Tears comes in a set of three "tears," and are made to order by Jeff and Andi from Esque (no two are alike!). Read more and purchase via Branch.
