Oil Spill Graphic by Tucker Nichols
Tucker Nichols is an artist based in San Francisco, who I know personally and whose talent I not-so-secretly envy. He has a penchant for beautiful mind maps, clever and simple graphics, and his recent work for the New York Times is no exception. Designed to accompany a piece entitled "The Good Driller Award," Tucker designed a series of oil splats that fall across the page of the printed version of the paper (seen in photo above). Check out all of Tucker's work here.

It's interesting to see the diversity of creative minds and while we like the satirical aspect of the piece, we hope to raise awareness of just what we may miss in the Gulf Coast region for years to come. Casart coverings will be donating 10% of the sale of all murals to Gulf Coast recovery efforts. Plus, we will be adding GUlf Coast inspired designs as well.
