Nokia released pedal-powered cell phone charger

Nokia has recently released a green cell phone charger, drawing energy from pedal power as you bike! The charger is intended for developing markets where energy is scarce, and where bikes are a common form of transportation. The kit includes the charger, cell phone holder, bike light, and dynamo that transfers kinetic energy from spinning wheels into usable power. Nokia hopes to bring the kits to market by the end of 2010. They will be available for about 15 euros each, bringing human-powered functionality to an already in place transportation infrastructure.
