Must Go Event: Compostmodern 2009 in San Francisco

November 24, 2008

I attended Compostmodern 2008 in January, and ten months and about 16 other conferences later, it’s still my favorite conference of the year. The one-day event is back, open for registration for the 2009 date (February 21), boasting a star-studded line-up of the brightest thinkers and most creative innovators in green design, spanning graphics/communication, product/industrial, interiors and architecture. Last year’s speakers included Worldchanging’s Alex Steffen, the Designers Accord’s Valerie Casey, and Walmart’s sustainability guru Adam Werback. This year will host Allan Chochinov of Core77 among others. Register now!!

Great conference, and I'm glad to see Walmart taking steps as a company to improve it's sustainability, since it has such a large impact on our world.
