PARK(ing) Day is just around the corner!

For eco-activists and rabble-rousing designers, this is your reminder that PARK(ing) Day 2009 is coming up quickly, scheduled for September 18th! If you haven’t heard of PARK(ing) Day before, this is your year to join in. Originally created by San Francisco-based art and design collective Rebar, PARK(ing) Day is an annual, one-day, global event where artists, activists, and citizens collaborate to transform metered parking spots into public park spaces.
