Orange's Off-Grid Solar Tent Concept

July 9, 2009

If you ever dream of throwing your laptop out the window and moving to the middle of nowhere and living out of a tent (I think about this weekly), this might be the concept tent for you: UK-based Orange has conceived of the Glastonbury Solar Tent that is its own power charging station. One part-tent, one part electronic docking station, the tent is made from a photovoltaic fabric that harnesses the suns rays to power your gadgets, while "groundsheet heat" is like radiant heating, but for the outdoors. Check out all the awesome features here.
