Emiliano Godoy's Thoughtful Green Furniture
July 2, 2008

Some things you can cheat, but thougthfulness in design isn’t one of them. Emiliano Godoy’s furniture conveys the simultaneous sensitivity to material and acumen of craft that’s rare in today’s design world. The Mexican designer’s Knit Chair (made from aircraft plywood, cotton rope, and wax) and Piasa room dividers are just a few of his gorgeous and green designs, each of which speak to materiality in an elegant way that goes beyond just "oh, and it’s made of bamboo." Check out his full portfolio here.
