Urban Lumber from Horigan

November 3, 2008

We’ve seen salvaged wood come from everywhere from old barns to factory off-cuts, reclaimed architectural elements, and more. But Horigan Urban Forest Products has found an untapped resource: the fallen trees of the Windy City. Gorgeous elm and maple woods are rescued from fallen trees downed in storms, ripped or bookmatched, usable for many an application. The "character wood" tells a story, is totally unique, and often has unique markings or patterns. Obviously, Horigan’s inventory varies. Check out their website for current availability.
