I’ve been obsessed with LEDs ever since they lit up the laser guns of my childhood Transformer toys. Now they’re the greenest and leanest bulbs available on the market, boasting high efficiency and long lifespans. One of the coolest new LED lamps I’ve seen in a while is the Trask lamp from MIO, designed by Jaime Salm and Roger Allen. The lamp is flat-packed, lit with LEDs, made from recyclable mateirals, and sculptable into a snaking table, task, or track lighting solution, making the user a co-designer. And at $225, it’s a relatively affordable alternative to some of the other LED lamps I’ve seen recently. Check it out on MIO here.
