Ineke Hans' Black Beauties Recycled Plastic Furniture

October 23, 2008

Dutch designer Ineke Hans has the ingenuity of material and eye for engaging aesthetics that make for seriously clever and beautiful furniture. Her line of Black Beauties recycled plastic chairs and desks for kids are sleek but kid-centric, in a surprising black rather than the usual bright pastels.

The recycled plastic pieces are functional (chairs and desks) and playful (jump ropes and toy cars). The Black Beauties line debuted in 2001, so be sure to check out her more recent and equally as wonderful work.

Yeah, and does anyone even rleotmey think that Ellison picked on Tancredo just because of that bit of smoking? Heavens to betsy, this is another stunt as sure as I'm not actually Pim Fortuyn. They (Ellison, CAIR) WANT to get Tancredo mad. They want to ruffle his feathers and get him to say something that they will try to turn into a scandal of some sort. Oooooh, I love it when a plan comes together.
