Karim Rashid's Bobble water bottle and filter in one

Amidst the recent uproar about plastic water bottles, we’ve seen many companies selling reusable plastic, stainless steel, and aluminum bottles. But star designer Karim Rashid seems to have upped the ante in two regards, creating Bobble, a bottle that filters the water as well, AND costs under $10. The bottle is also BPA-free, so it won’t leach toxins into your water, and it is made from recycled plastic. The filter itself is a carbon-based filtration device that promises to provide over 150 liters (about 250 bottles) in its lifetime. Replacement filters are only $7.
