Ornj Totes made from old construction fencing

Yesterday on one of my go-to gift source websites, Etsy, I discovered a deceptively chic tote. Made from construction site fencing—yes, the awful orange plastic meshy material— David Shock’s Ornj bags are as hip as can be and made from a reclaimed material. What amazed me about the design was its simplicity, and how such a vernacular and in no way inspiring material could be transformed into something so useful and downright beautiful.
