Start It Up by Che Pablo Popeye

November 1, 2009

Though just in concept phase right now, Che Pablo Popeye’s "Start It Up" furniture kit seems to be the perfect answer for college dorms and cramped home offices. Made from only one material, honeycomb cardboard, Start It Up unfolds into a chair, a table, and wardrobe, all in a simple flat-pack style. All of the panels slot together without the need for hardware. Check out more of Che’s work here.

IF you like the concept, but not necessarily the materials, try these: www.legarefurniture.com

I don't think that will work for a college student, can you imagine playing quarters on that and one spilt beer and it's ruined. ;)

k28dc - this will no doubt look scratty and horrible very quickly I wouldn't buy this even for a student house - it would be trashed in seconds. Ikea is a better option
