Architect-designed green undies for Earth Day

April 19, 2010

Designer Yves Behar teamed up with Jason Kibbey and Jeff Denby to launch PACT, a green undergarment company that believes “Change Starts With Your Underwear.” Organic cotton cuts and mod graphics make for comfy and eco-friendly skivvies, and the company donates 10% of their sales to various nonprofits (you can shop by style or cause). This Earth Day (3 days away!), PACT teamed up with renown architect David Adjaye and the Green Belt Movement of Kenya to create the newest Green-Belt inspired print. Through April 25th, PACT will donate ALL proceeds of sales from the collection to plant 10,000 trees in Africa (20 trees for each pair of Green Belt underwear sold). Get your pair for men or women here- prices start at $18.

This is something that is often ovleeookrd in business. Whether people realize or not, we absolutely buy things based on the way the product/service makes us feel. That's not to say that emotions are the only factor but they're certainly a major player. The vid gave great advice as well. As a business owner, try to see things from your potential customer's perspective. This will help you formulate the best strategy for marketing what you have to offer.Great post Josh.
