Ecoimpact Consulting

Are you ready to move to a deeper shade of green? Are your clients? Suppliers?
Green is the new black—as in the black side of the balance sheet, which as we all know is a harder place to get to these days. Going green may help. It will differentiate you from your competitors, demonstrate your commitment to a greener planet and global equity, and yes, improve your bottom line numbers.
Many companies recognize the value of aligning their brand and reputation to sustainability excellence. The how-to is puzzling. So it is with great excitement that I announce my new venture, Ecoimpact Consulting, an exciting collaboration offering companies sustainable strategies for better business.
The partners and staff of Ecoimpact believe that sustainability is a portal to achieving a greater competitive advantage even in a down economy. Through a comprehensive and customized menu of services, we will guide companies rethinking their approaches to achieve sustainability and economic goals. These will include both internal and external strategic assessments, trainings, promotion, and research.
One of the most important things we can do is to help our clients identify their own strengths and positioning within their market sector. Is your structure and culture green compatible? What do your people need for successfully contributing to integrating green? What are you doing now and what should you be doing?
As the LEED Green Building Rating System continues to evolve, Ecoimpact will also offer in-house LEED training as well as workshops on advanced strategies and personal sustainability coaching for its clients. We know how to sort through and make sense of industry reports and trends, information on tax incentives and regulations and how to use the tools to help you track your green progress.
I hope you’ll indulge me my self-promotion here, but I’ve joined with two of the most recognized thought leaders in the green movement, Ken Wilson and Diana Horvat—experts who have a collective knowledge of the sustainability framework and a proven track record of success. Their design firm, Envision, provides architectural and interior design services for forward thinking, high-profile clients such the award-winning LEED Gold IIDA Headquarters office in Chicago and the new offices for USGBC—likely to achieve the first LEED 2009 Platinum.
I heard someone say recently that there are no ex-environmentalists. One you’re there, you don’t go back. Ecoimpact can help you get there.
