Gigantic Root Vessels by Judith Wehmeyer van den Boom

Judith Wehmeyer van den BoomI'm constantly delighted by the wonderful design coming out of The Netherlands. Great creations by designers with longgggggg Dutch names. It was an instant attraction when I spotted these root vessels by Dutch designer (with a longgg name) Judith Wehmeyer van den Boom. They are stylized, organic, and the best thing is that she has messed with the scale making these ceramic vessels really really large. Good colors to boot.

around 30% but thats because I elbeive in the giveway which is part of my spiritual walk as an American Indian, very little is donated to 503 (1) (c) charities, but to actual people in need that I know of, since I come from a humble beginning on the rservation , and Pine Ridge reservation has the lowest per capita income of anywhere in the US, I do know quite a few truly needy individuals, some are elderly, some even care for foster children without compensation, and others I meet in daily life who could use a hand up not a hand out. I am middle of ther road with semi liberal leanings on some issues and conservative leanings on others

As I wrote below - convincing LE or the court of ninimemt danger to oneself or others is not always easy, nor does it provide for permanent relief. And yes, Dr. Helen is correct. Each case, each set of circumstances often requires distinct resources and remedies. In this specific case, there are confirmed reports that Mr. Loughner did make threats against a person or persons. What if he was arraigned? One could speculate that his illness would be manifest and detected, he may have been held, treated for a period of time, and eventually released. This may have prevented him from acquiring a firearm. It may be that the failure here was in fact a failure of LE to fully investigate and prosecute the confirmed threats. Or not.If estimates of schizophrenia are 1% (3M people) are correct, there is no way to fully assess the immediate and continuous danger these persons have to themselves or others.More to the point, virtually all violent crime is committed by non-schizophrenics. Sociopathy (amongst other Axis II diagnoses) substance abuse and dependency, alcoholism, are far more common traits in violent crime - and there is little or no progress on these fronts.
