Rebel at Heart, Alkmaar, NL

Every summer, my family and I get to spend a much needed vacation with my parents at their house in Alkmaar in the Netherlands. It's a ridiculously gorgeous city and I look forward to this each summer. The center of town is beautiful and the shopping is always super fun. Every year, there are new shops that pop up and there is also the disappointment of finding that one of my favorite little boutiques closed.

This year I discovered Rebel at Heart, a little design store that packs a lot of punch with interesting fun products that you dont see everywhere else. If you are a design junkie and find yourself in Alkmaar this store should not be missed. My favorite was a custom designed crib by the store's owners; simple, sturdy, and fun, and at 540 Euros, I think it's a good deal. Its almost a good enough reason to have another baby! Oh, and they ship to the U.S.
