Anagrama Maison du Macaron

Maison du Macaron

I think its interesting that one of the most fascinating and visually delightful stores I have seen in a long time is the work of a branding company called Anagrama. This store design for Theurel & Thomas Patisserie called Maison du Macaron sells French macaroons and is located in the affluent suburb of San Pedro, Mexico.

What makes this space so stunning is the exclusively white interiors. Since there is no other color used in the interiors they have really focused on texture; a modern white box with a lot of intricate white detailing and styles borrowed from the past. In this store, the product, however, becomes the focal point and they are most visually delightful thing I have feasted my eyes on in a long long time. The colored jewel-like macaroons in hues both soft and bold come alive in the space as they are artfully displayed. My feeling about this store is best summed up with these wise words from Tina Fey, "I want to go to there."

P.S. Watermelon red and Tiffany blue are a hot color combo!

Wow, really love this space. I really like the fact that white was used throughout and the color actually comes from their product.
