Before & After
I must say I did find progress at the Manor-not overwhelming progress, but progress nonetheless. I still don't see that much-talked-about light at the end of a tunnel, but at least there was evidence that someone had been working! Of course, I am still waiting for the schedule Contractor Mitch promised. I have already reserved a mover to start bringing up items from my storage during the last week of August. Yes, that is where I have been selecting furnishings, Moishe's Storage. It will be an eclectic interior to say the least, representing my taste (and mistakes) for the last 40 plus years.

I would love to share these store room hidden treasures with you but to photograph them would be an overwhelming task. There are layers of home furnishings behind those padlocked doors. Maybe some day you will be able to see them in an issue of Interior Design, but I might have to wait until they start running a before and after edition. The bad news is that my house will probably remain in a "before" state for some time. I need not wait for my furnishings to acquire a matured look, they will be delivered with one. Unpacking will be a day of, "oh my god, I completely forgot about this," or "what was I thinking, why did I ever buy this?" I definitely see a yard sale in my future.
